RYA Sailability Achievement Scheme | The Achievement Scheme is a great scheme whereby any client interested in sailing can progress from some elementary aspects of sailing through to elements that would be challenging for most people. RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2 | This is a formal RYA certificate, which may need to be endorsed depending on a person’s capability. This is considered to be the level of competency most clubs require to allow someone to sail in a hired boat. Disability Awareness Course | This is course for those who would like to gain more confidence in dealing with those with disabilities. RYA Volunteer Scheme | The Volunteer Scheme is there to encourage people to progress and learn more skills. A logbook is issued to all participants and to obtain the first award, it is mandatory to complete the Disability Awareness Course. A certificate is awarded at each level, and at each successive level, there is an additional reward. | Helpers | None | None |
BSCSG Specific Training | We run training geared for the helpers for the sessions. This includes anything from sailing and powerboat refreshers to boat rigging, hoist usage and Pioner clamps. These sessions are tailored to the aspirations of those attending. | Helpers | None | None |
